El Perico is a 100 plus year old adobe home fully restored by artist Carol Putnam.
The home has two en suits, one with its own private patio with fountain.

Every effort was made to preserve the original tiles and light fixtures through out the home.

All rooms open out onto the portal. The portal runs the entire length of the home completely private, surrounded by citrus, avocados, pistachios. and mango trees. The gardens have specimen cactus and succulents.
Ambient lighting creates an intimate atmosphere for dinner parties or quiet conversations. A custom fireplace provides a gathering place to sit relax or read a book. Marshmallow roasting is a nightly winter ritual for hot chocolate or s’mores.

A custom pizza oven is next to the portal for pizzas, bread making, roasting meats.
Ms. Putnam designed the pizza oven with a glass core for long term heat conduction which allows an extended cooking time for multiple items.

Note:
For this project I adhered to the principles of Wabi Sabi design. The stark Sonoran Architecture lends itself beautiful to this concept. I chose to accent and illustrate the beautiful craftsmanship of the albaņil which I had the extreme pleasure and good fortune to work alongside these very talented people.
As with all my projects it is my wish the house will bring nothing but happiness
and joy to the new Patron(s).
